"6 foot 3" in the biography "A Charmed Life" and also in a 1946 article, describing how during a 2 month break between filming he put on 20 pounds,
"but I'm still only 185 pounds for my 6 feet 3."A 1956 article mentioned him as being "six-foot-two-and-a half inch" and a 2002 biography described how "he shot up to six feet two and a half inches while in high school — growing eleven inches between the ages of fifteen and seventeen".
